Adventure Time Heads to Sundance
Continuing to be the Adventure Time episode that keeps on giving, “Thank You” is one of just 65 short films that’ll be screened at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival in Utah next month, the Sundance Institute is announcing. There were a record 8,012 short film submissions this year so, yeah, Pen Ward and Tom Herpich deserve a mighty thumbs up. Congratulations, men. Now go buy some parkas.
Not only did Tom write and board the episode, he designed the title card, above, too. Martin Ansolabehere and Nick Jennings painted it.
AJ Fosik. I really really want one of his head busts…

Now This Is Gangnam Style of the Day: Just because we’re nearly over it in the U.S. doesn’t mean “Gangnam Style” is waning in Korea — at PSY’s recent concert at Kyonggi University in Seoul, the crowd practically becomes part of the track.
It’s almost enough to give you chills.

Hey, America. This is how you react at a concert.
Happy Birthday, Mark Hamill!
Mr. Hamill is 61 today.
Interesting Fact: He kept his Luke Skywalker boots, from the first “Star Wars” movie. When the movie was re-released to theaters in the late 1990s, his son asked if he could wear the boots to a showing. Hamill said no, telling him he didn’t think the boy would “get out alive” if fans knew his boots were the originals.
